Chihuahua looked forward to hosting baseball games again


The El Paso Chihuahuas announced that Tuesday tickets for the opening day on Thursday against the Albuquerque isotopes are sold out.

The first place for is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

“We’re grateful to have baseball in 2021 and to judge by the reaction of Chihuahuas fans, as well as El Paso,” said Brad Taylor, senior vice president of MountainStar Sports Group and general manager of Chihuahuas. “We can hardly wait to welcome guests to what is certain to be an energetic and emotional opening evening and weekend.”

Limited tickets are still available for the team’s first homestand, which runs until May 18th. The homestand includes Fetch the Fun Friday, a fireworks spectacle on Saturday, Sunday on Children’s Day, Military Monday presented by Prudential, and Taco Tuesday & Brews with El Paso Margaritas on May 18th.

The stadium gates open at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets can be bought for the rest of the homestand at epchihuahuas.com.
